What we will never charge for
A server under attack at three in the morning should not discover that its protection was a paid feature. Everything below stays in the free plan permanently, regardless of server size.

Why charge for anything, then?
Storing months of message history costs real money, and it grows with your server. Premium bills for the parts that scale with our hosting costs, which is why the free plan can stay genuinely free rather than quietly getting worse.
How does the free trial work?
7 days of Premium, once per server, and we do not ask for a card to start it. If you do nothing, the trial ends and the server carries on with the free plan. Nothing is charged and nothing is switched off.
How is it billed?
Per server, through Stripe. Card details go straight to Stripe and never touch our servers. Cancel any time from the billing portal: the server keeps Premium until the period you paid for runs out, then drops back to the free plan with every protection feature intact.
What is the custom bot?
Premium servers can run Custos under their own bot account, so it appears with your name, your avatar and your branding rather than ours. Every feature works exactly the same.
What happens to my data if I cancel?
Cases, warnings and settings are kept. Message logs older than the free retention window are removed on the normal schedule, so nothing is deleted the moment you downgrade.
